The purpose of the Chartered Accountant Board Exam (CABE) – Applied Learning Programme (ALP) is to adequately prepare students to successfully answer SAICA board examination questions.
This programme has been developed to bridge the gap between a formal academic qualification and the board examination. As such the programme will focus on revising previous knowledge and using it to answer past board examination questions. The participants will be expected to do pre-reading and discussions will be facilitated by experts in the respective knowledge areas.
Participants on this programme will be recently qualified students holding a Postgraduate Diploma/Honours in Accounting and who qualify to write the SAICA ITC board examination. Participants can attend from the UKZN PGDA class and UNISA students residing in KZN, as well as any external participants who meet the entry criteria
Participants will hold a Postgraduate Diploma/Honours in Accounting as a pre-requisite for the CA(SA) Board Examination
