As challenging as it may be, learning a new language has numerous benefits including an improved self esteem, better communication and translation skills. Learning a new language requires hard work and dedication as well as patience with yourself and the whole learning process.

Over the past few weeks a class of 21 delegates began a new adventure of learning a new language – French for beginners. This 12 week programme is facilitated by Jennifer Erasmus who has over 14 years teaching experience in English and French and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in French. She focused on topics including the introduction to French, everyday communication language, basic grammar as well as oral vocabulary in French.

The delegates are thoroughly enjoying the programme as Jennifer has created quite the French ambience by playing videos and incorporating dialogues that have been created by people of France. This has increased their excitement of the course and their learning ability of the language.
