UEL recently hosted delegates from King Cetshwayo Municipality, Unitrade and UKZN staff members for the first session of the Emerging Managers Programme – the Managing for Impact (MFI) module. Academics facilitating the impactful three-day module included Mr Vikani Funda, Ms Ntokozo Makoba as well as Ms Julie Elliott.

Sandile Mbokazi who is an Academic Leader and a Lecturer at UKZN, highlighted his experience after the three day session. He stated that one of the individual exercises he engaged in opened him up as a person and the results confirmed that he has a combination of a range of personalities. He also added that going back to work, he would implement all that he has acquired from the MFI module and he is looking forward to the second module of the Programme – Management in Context.

UEL is proud to offer such programmes as they play a key role in promoting lifelong learning, and improving personal productivity and performance in challenging and demanding work environments.

If you are a newly appointed manager or have managed for years but have never attended such a programme then this course could be beneficial for you. If you would like to enrol for the next intake and improve your managerial proficiencies, then please contact:
