Project Management in Practice

30th November 2016

Johara Mansura

One of UEL’s latest customised offerings, Project Management in Practice, commenced on the 4th of October 2016. This 6-month course, an extension of our three day Competent Project Management course, is facilitated by Mondli Mbambo. Mondli was received well by delegates of uThungulu Municipality at the first block session which was held at the Zululand Chamber of Business Foundation in Richards Bay. Delegates included numerous councilors from the uThungulu district as well as a mayor from King Cetshwayo Municipality.

This programme was designed to provide delegates with sufficient contemporary project management skills in order to allow them to be efficient in managing resources and time when working on projects.  This is a crucial skill set required in Municipal offices in order to ensure employees become knowledgeable in managing projects. This programmes aims to turn current ‘Accidental Project Managers’ into well informed and consequently skilled Project Managers.
