Mathematics Insight Programme

UKZN Extended Learning recently initiated the Mathematics Insight Programme with Hlahlindlela High School which saw the grade 11 pupils attend lectures for a week in an effort to better equip and prepare them for the successful completion of their Matric year.  In addition to aiding and equipping students with a functional library as well as the provision of other resources, UEL coordinated the facilitation of two lecturers to assist learners in possible problem areas, recapping on the Mathematics syllabus and to ensure students are primed for the demanding Grade 12 final examinations.  UKZN Extended Learning’s CEO, Mr Simon Tankard addressed the learners and conveyed the importance that Mathematics plays in various job roles, whilst encouraging students to aptly apply themselves in order to reinforce solid career choices and successful futures.
