UKZN Extended Learning’s latest Anaesthetics course began on the 23rd June 2016. This three day course was the product of a partnership between UKZN Extended Learning, Piramal Health Care and the UKZN College of Health Sciences. The primary objective was to provide training for Health Care Practitioners, and to further educate them on content in simulated modules covering Anaesthesia and Resuscitation training. The course also provided general presentations and workshops around clinical cases, safety and technology. The course took place at the Anaesthesiology and Critical Care Smart Centre and practical’s took place at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli Hospital.
