The Management Development Programme (MDP) is one of our sought-after Management and Leadership programmes. This year has presented endless opportunities and we have successfully facilitated our first intake of MDP delegates that is completely online. This programme is designed to build your capacity to tackle tomorrow’s challenges, today. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, individuals in leadership positions need to refocus and immerse themselves in innovative thinking process when dealing with best practice management. The discussions that take place provide each delegate with personal and professional tools to strengthen their effectiveness as a manager and a leader.

On the 22nd of July 2020 we kicked off our first session which will run over the course of three days. The duration of this programme is 15 days and comprises of 5 block sessions conducted through interactive sessions with our facilitators. Module one looked at Management and Leadership from a holistic perspective and featured top-notch facilitators who are industry experts. The facilitation team consisted of UKZN Extended Learning’s CEO, Mr Simon Tankard accompanied by Professor Abdulla Kader and Ms Zinhle Mpungose. Our MDP programme also offers an exciting business simulation aspect which will be relished by our first group of delegates from the likes of Umgeni Water and East Coast Radio.
