UKZN Extended Learning (UEL) was honoured to be part of an insightful Seminar and Exhibition hosted by the Zululand Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZCCI) in Richards Bay, for small to medium business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. The seminar’s theme focused on the four main pillars for an SMME, namely; motivation, compliance, skills and funding. The main guest speaker at the event is one of the young and successful entrepreneurs of this country, Tebogo Ditshego. Tebogo is the CEO of Ditshego Media and has been listed as one of Forbes Magazine’s Top 30 African Entrepreneurs under the age of 30 in 2014.
As the short courses offered by UEL are aimed at training and skills development, we fit within the theme of the seminar and within the ‘skills’ pillar. As entrepreneurs the attendees were most interested in the Essentials for Business courses on offer.
