Time is the most precious commodity that you can give to someone in need. On the 18th July 2017, UEL staff members donated 67 minutes of their time to the Food Forward SA Mandela Day Food Drive. The Food drive was held at the Olive Convention Centre in North Beach, Durban, where employees from various organisations came together in order to pack up food parcels. These food items had been donated by South African citizens at Pick n Pay stores around the country. This initiative was evident that a little does go a long way as the food parcels were later delivered to 600 beneficiary organisations. UEL was proud to be part of this year’s Food Drive and aims to be part of something greater in future.
