On the 21st of July 2016 UKZN Extended Learning attended and co-hosted the Black Management Forum Gala Dinner held at Coastlands Hotel on the Ride, Musgrave. This event aimed to celebrate the Black Management Forum’s 40 years of existence. Many corporate companies as well as representatives from the public sector in and around KwaZulu-Natal, attended.
Various guest speakers presented, including Dr Philani Maphanga, Director of Price Waterhouse Coopers; Nhlanhla Gumede, CEO of South African Farmers Development Agency and Fortune Nkwanyana, Managing Director of Blue Fortune Communications. The keynote speaker for the evening, Honorable Willies Mchunu, the Premier of KwaZulu-Natal gave a message of support.
The event concluded with dinner, followed by a network session.
